Dru Yoga



Dru Yoga Classes 

If you are looking for a yoga class for your mind, body and your soul then Dru Yoga is for you. The class is a mix of warm-up exercises, flowing postures (asanas) and a deep relaxation (savasana) which will leave you feeling, relaxed and rejuvenated.  Dru means still point so we are always working towards having an experience of stillness, which will bring you into the present movement giving you connect with your mind and your body.

Each class consists of:

Activations: Each 1-hour class will begin with some activations are a range of movements designed to warm up the body and get the mind, ready for the class.

Energy  Block Removal Sequences: are unique to Dru Yoga and each one is a series of movements to help energy flow more freely throughout the body.

Asanas: Dru Yoga has its roots in hatha yoga and includes classical yoga postures (asanas), pranayama (breath work), mudras (gestures), positive affirmations, empowering visualisations and powerful, flowing, dynamic sequences.

A long deep relaxation is an important part of a Dru Yoga class and is usually at least 15-20 mins long.


I currently have one closed class at a school in Leicester for staff.
